A notorious Lagos hoodlum kingpin, Adio Shamusideen, has reportedly been arrested for assaulting a commercial tricycle (Marwa) operator and his passenger leading to the eventual death of the passenger.
As disclosed in a post shared on X, Adio stopped the Marwa operator to extort him while also beating him.
One of his passengers, identified as Ramon Iman, had reportedly intervened and appealed to the hoodlum.

Ramon was however pounced on by Adio and beaten to coma under the watch of passers-by and onlookers.
The passenger tragically passed away on Wednesday on account of the assault.
Video attached to the post showed moment the hoodlum dragged the Marwa operator.
Another clip revealed moment Ramon collapsed under the brute force of attacks by the Shamsudeen.

In the wake of Ramon’s death, Adio was arrested and currently detained in Panti police station.
His arrest is however yet to be confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command.
A message sent to the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Abimbola Adebisi was yet to be replied as at the time of filing this report.
A huge number of protesters had stormed the Lagos Island on Thursday in protests against the death of Ramon who was described as an easy going person.
Many of the protesters had carried placards baring various inscriptions asking the police not to compromise on the investigation and punishment for the death of Ramon.
