A Lagos-based 14-year-old artist, Jomiloju Poroye (JP), is set to showcase her creative works at a special exhibition.
This was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by Halimah Okanlawon, the Communications Manager of the Jomiloju Has Got Talent Initiative.
According to the statement, Poroye, who lives with cerebral palsy and a hearing impairment, has steadily grown her interest in painting and illustration over the years.

The exhibition slated to hold on the 13th of December at KayFarms Estate, Iju-Ishaga, is designed to highlight the artist’s talent and give the public an opportunity to experience her unique artistic expressions.
The exhibition is expected to be graced by the Chairman, Kay Farms Products Limited, Chief Kayode Williams as the Father of the Day, while the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka will be the Special Guest of Honour and other dignitaries.
The event was also declared open to members of the public, and attendees who are invited to support JP as she presents her artworks.

Earlier in the year, Poroye’s works of arts had attracted the attention of one of the leading television stations in Nigeria Television Continental (TVC) which did a documentary on her works.
