The Lagos State University on Wednesday removed its Dean Students Affairs Prof Tajudeen Abayomi Olumoko.
Olumoko, an Associate Professor of Marketing was relieved of his position over allegations that he was involved in certificate racketeering.
A senior lecturer in the Department of Political Science, Dr Abiodun Fatai-Abatan, has been appointed as acting DSA.
Though there was no official confirmation of the decision of the university, it was gathered that the issue has attracted the attention of the state government.
A source said the Lagos state House of Assembly has also concluded plans to summon the Vice Chancellor of the institution Prof Ibironke Olatunji Bello to appear it over the matter.
