Local Govt: Tambuwal Swears In Newly-Elected Chairmen In Sokoto

The governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal has today swore in the newly-elected local government chairmen in the state.
The governor after administering the oath of office on them, charged them to pay attention to the rising insecurity in the state, added that the present security challenges have made it imperative for chairmen to find solutions to the specific crisis in their local government.
Tambuwal reassured that the state government will continue to support the grassroots government in all its affairs.
He charged the newly-elected chairmen to continue to seek for the forwardness of its people at the grassroots level.
He, however, commended the state electoral body, security agencies, residents in the state as well as traditional and religious leaders for the peaceful conduct of the election.
