An empowerment programme organised by the Seyi Tinubu-led City Boys Movement has turned rowdy in Imo state as locals stormed the venue, snatch what they could in the mayhem.
The City Boys Movement, an elitist support group of President Bola Tinubu, comprising of young prominent Nigerian businessmen and public figures, had organised the empowerment programme at Imo during the weekend.
The event however failed to go as planned as mammoth crowd breached the security protocol and stormed into the venue.
A video of the incident shared on social media showed the crowd towards the car where the empowerment items and other relief materials wee kept.
