Man Accuses Ogun Govt of Allocating His Farmland For Housing Scheme

A yet-to-be identified man on Monday accused the Ogun state government of allocating his farmland for a housing scheme.

In a video obtained by NPO Reports, the visibly angry man lamented how he purchased the over 15-hectare of cassava farm through Ogun State Agricultural Development Corporation.

According to him, he found officials of the Ogun State Ministry of Housing destroying his crops at the farmland very close to the Orientation Camp of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, at the Sagamu area of the state.

He claimed some men seen in the video were at his farmland to dig the ground and commence work on foundation for some buildings.

He lamented that government who is supposed to empower the youths is the one destroying the hard work of the youths.

He fumed: "Millions of naira have been spent on this farm and you can see them destroying the crops. The world must hear this.

"This is a fight to finish. This is a level of impunity that is not acceptable. I will not allow what I suffered for to go in vain."
