An X user, Badru Lanre, has called out a middle-aged man Adesanya Oluwatumilara, for allegedly faking his parents’ death to defraud his former schoolmates.
In a post shared on his X handle on Thursday, Badru accused Adesanya of defrauding his school set mates and department colleagues of millions of Naira.
The former student of the International School University of Lagos was alleged to have used a fake obituary of his mother in carrying out act.
He was also accused of using fake scholarship letters to defraud people.
Badru, in the post on his X handle, also attached a video of Adesanya lavishing the money he swindled from his ex-colleagues at a party.
The X user also accused him of stealing students union funds to maintain his fake lifestyle.
“ADESANYA OLUWATUMILARA, you are a BasTARD and BLOODY THIEF for FAKING your PARENT’S DEATH to defraud millions of naira from your school set mate and department guys.
“Same as using fake scholarship letters to defraud people. Never take any words from him!!! He is a bloody liar!!!
“See what he uses the money to do. Living fake life and spraying people’s hard earned money.
“He also stole student union funds money. Very wicked person.” Badru wrote.
The X user also called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest Adesanya for Naira mutilation.
The post had generated reactions from netizens with some claiming he is on their WhatsApp football group.
Adesanya’s fake obituary of his mother identified as Kehinde Adesanya, was also leaked in the comment section.
As contained in obituary, the family had allegedly announced the passing of the 55-year-old woman.

While the cause of her death and the exact day she died were not disclosed, the woman was described as a loving mother and beautiful wife.
“The Adesanya family are sad to announce the passing of Adesanya Kehinde Abosede. He laughter and warm presence will be missed by all. She was a loving mother and beautiful wife. Your smile will forever be remembered.” The obituary had read.
