Apologises to Davido

The paternity saga involving Nigerian afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his alleged daughter, Aanu Adeleke, has taken a fresh twist as a Nigerian man confessed being the biological father of the girl.
NPO Reported that the scandal resurfaced earlier this month when Aanu shared a post on her Instagram page, declaring herself Davido’s oldest daughter.
While the singer had since maintained his stance on not being the girl’s father, Deji Adeleke, Davido’s father, would last week hold a Press Conference where he released the DNA results affirming his son’s stance on the lingering scandal.
Things would then take a fresh twist after a video surfaced online on Monday with a man who shared striking semblance with Davido declared himself the father of the child.
The man whose real name is yet to be ascertained recounted how he had met Anu’s mother, Ayotomide Labinjoh, at a night club.
He claimed that the girl’s mother mistook him for Davido and followed him to his hotel.
“Anu is my daughter. I’m sorry to say this Nigerians. I will drop evidence and proofs.
“Normally I be Davido die-hard fan right from time, right from Owerri. I went to shrine to vibe because I’m one of the biggest ballers.
“After balling, I con dey go back house. This girl said you’re Davido and I said I’m not Davido but just a fan.
“She insisted that I’m Davido so I didn’t talk again. I just maintained as a gee.
“Naso the girl follow me go my hotel. She was so excited. Before you know, this girl don pull my clothe. Na normal thing.” He said.
While reaffirming that Aanu is his daughter, the man apologised to Davido and his father for the troubles.
He vowed to release evidence to back up” his claim.
“Anu is my daughter. Davido, please forgive me. I’m sorry to say this. Adeleke family please forgive me.” He added.
