Manchester United has appointed Reuben Amorim as new manager following the sacking of Eric Ten Hag.
The Red Devils confirmed the appointment of the 39-yeae-old Portuguese manager on a two-and-a-half year deal.
Amorim who was coaching Sporting Lisbon before Ten Hag’s sack had, earlier this week issued notice to his now former employers.
He would take charge of the Manchester United from November 11.
The Red Devils had announced the sacking of Eric Ten Hag on Monday after last week’s defeat to West Ham.
The Dutch manager was replaced by his assistant and former Man United’s player, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, pending the arrival of Amorim.
