Fire is raging at the popular Otedola Bridge Lagos Tuesday night as a fuel tanker has exploded.
The cause of the explosion could not be determined as at the time of filing this report, NPO Reports observed that the fire had taken over most part of the bridge leading to the CMD Road and nearby Otedola Housing Estate .
It was not clear how many people had died but accounts by witnesses said a few people were caught unaware by the sudden inferno which spread suddenly within 80 metres radius of the explosion.
It was gathered that at the time the inferno burst out ravaging the carnal nearby, some people who take shelter under some illegal structures near the carnal were caught up. No one could say what fate befell them.
Residents of Otedola Estate whose houses were near the carnal had to rush out of their houses as the fire got more intense.
