A fierce clash suspected political thugs in Osogbo and Owode-Ede has left many residents of the Osun state communities injured.
The thugs were reported to have engaged in deadly fire exchange during the clash on Tuesday with several residents caught the crossfire.
Video shared on X showed a commercial vehicle riddled with bullet holes.
One of the residents caught in the crossfire was rushed to the hospital with his clothe soaked in blood from a suspected gunshot injury.
Meanwhile, details surrounding the incident largely remain unknown as no official statement has been issued to confirm the development.
NPO Reports contacted the Osun Police Command for confirmation, but no response has been received as at the time of filing this report.
