Some of the United States air missile has hit some areas on Offa, Kwara State, leaving several injured with two hotels and other properties destroyed.
This incident reportedly occured in the early hours of Friday shortly after the United States President’s Donald Trump, announcement of air strike launch in the North West region.
While the attack was reportedly targeted at terrorists hideout, the US missiles had however found their way in several communities in Kwara as well as Sokoto state.

Pictures and video footages recorded after the incident showed residential apartments and two hotels.
According to reports, the explosion injured a staff of one of the hotels while others scampered for safety.
Further linking the connection of the explosions to the US air strikes were discovery of three unexploded munitions across the town.
The incident had since sparked outrage from residents of the affected communities.
Recounting their ordeal to a Arise TV some of the residents narrated how a woman popularly known as Iya Ayo and her daughter, Aisha, were severely injured as they were asleep when the explosion occurred.
“They were already asleep when the explosion happened. Iya Ayo’s breast, stomach and arms were pierced by nails,” a resident said.
Eyewitnesses said an artisan was also injured, while at least four adjoining buildings suffered serious structural damage. A petty trader, Madam Joy, described seeing a bright object moments before the impact.
“We saw it coming with lights beaming, then it rammed into that upstairs before going through the other three buildings it pulled down,” she said.
Meanwhile, the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, dismissed rumours linking the explosions to a bomb attack or foreign military action.
“There was no bomb scare in Offa, there was no plane crash,” the police chief said.
“What happened was an ordnance, and our IED experts have evacuated the debris. There is no cause for alarm. Everything is under control.” He said
