The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has congratulated the governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike over his 55th birthday.
Atiku celebrated Wike via his Twitter handle on Tuesday with a prayer saying “May lines for in pleasant places for you.”
“As you turn 55 today, I pray that all lines fall in pleasant places for you. Enjoy your special day,” Atiku posted on his verified Twitter handle accompanied with a bold, smiling photo of the Rivers governor.
Governor Wike has been at loggerheads with Atiku after the PDP presidential primary in May where he lost out to the Atiku.
Wike, along with four other PDP governors Known as G-5 or the Integrity Group have called for the resignation of the current national chairman of the party, Dr. Iyorcha Ayu claiming that two Northerners can not occupy the two major positions in the party.
The Integrity governors want a southerner to occupy the position as a precondition to support the 2023 ambition of Atiku.
Wike had in recent times promised to provide logistics support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP),Peter Obi and his counterpart Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

Speaking on the crisis on Sunday while fielding questions on Channels Television’s in a program tagged “The People’s Townhall”, Atiku said he has met Wike five times to resolve the issue but there is no end in sight.
