Nollywood actress and producer, Mercy Aigbe, has vowed to sue the tailor responsible for her husband’s controversial outfit at the Premiere of her new movie ‘Thin Line’.
Aigbe in a post on her X handle on Thursday said the fashion designer behind the outfit purported to be social media content creator, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (popularly known as Kiekie), should prepare to meet her lawyer.
“My husband is trending because of you @iamKiekie_ 😂😂😂 you will hear from my lawyers soon 😂
“#THINLINE is coming heavily to all cinemas nationwide from tomorrow” Aigbe wrote.
NPO reported that the actress’ husband and entertainment entrepreneur, Alhaji Kazim Adeoti, had caused stir on social media following his appearance at his wife’s movie premiere in a female outfit.
Following the Premiere, Adeoti had stormed Kiekie’s shop.
In the satirical video shared by the content creator on her Instagram page, Adeoti narrated how he was made jest of online over the outfit.
Kiekie, the self-acclaimed fashion designer faulted the entrepreneur for wearing boot over the outfit.
She would donn Adeoti what a female hat which she considered the missing piece.
Displeased with the self-acclaimed fashion designer, Adeoti ordered in security operatives who whisked Kiekie and her apprentice into a waiting vehicle with the number plate ‘Thin Line’.
The outfit, a green top which appeared more of a female design had ignited many comments on social media with many making mockery of the outfit.
A few other comments had applauded the outfit as being creative and one out to ignite a new debate in fashion.
