All appointees of President Bola Tinubu will demonstrate whether they intend to stay in his administration or will ship out.
The president said scorecards is the reason he set up a performance and evaluation desk which is charged with the responsibility to monitor how appointees deliver on their responsibilities.
The desk is headed by the former Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Hadiza Bala Mohammed.
Speaking to Nigerians on Monday, the president said “We have set the parameters for evaluation.
“Within the first quarter of this new year, Ministers and Heads of Agencies with a future in this administration that I lead will continue to show themselves.”
Saying that there will be no excuse for poor performance, the President said “I took an oath to serve this country and give my best at all times.
“Like I said in the past, no excuse for poor performance from any of my appointees will be good enough.”
Saying that his administration will implement a new minimum wage, he said he is committed to the welfare of Nigerians.
“We will work diligently to make sure every Nigerian feels the impact of their government.
“The economic aspirations and the material well-being of the poor, the most vulnerable and the working people shall not be neglected,” the president concluded
