United States President, Donald Trump, has credited his 18-year-old son, Baron Trump for encouraging him to engage in podcasts which earned him huge votes.
As seen in a post shared on X on Tuesday, Trump had in his inaugural speech yesterday after being sworn-in as the US 47th President acknowledged Baron’s presence.
He recalled how the teenager urged him to go on podcast in an effort to win the youths votes.
“I have a very tall son named Baron. Has anyone ever heard of him? He knew the youths votes. You know we won the youths vote by 36 points. He said get on Daddy you gat to go out there and do this. We did a lot of them and they respect him.
“He understood a lot of them. He said Dad you gat to go out to Joe Rogers and all these guys. We did it.” an elated Trump said to the crowd who cheered Baron.
Recall that the Republican had, in last year’s Presidential election, defeated former Vice President and the Democrats Presidential candidate, Kamala Harris.
The victory against Harris saw Trump marked an historical return to the White House after being ousted in 2020 by Joe Biden.
