The Iranian Force has on Tuesday launched drone attack on the United States’ Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This is coming under the heels of the escalation of the US and Israel’s multiple attacks on Iran’s capital, Tehrain, on Saturday.
NPO Reported that the attacks which claimed the life of the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khameni, had led to retaliatory attacks on several countries across Gulf Region by the Iran Forces.
With countries like Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) all having their fair share of missile attacks during the weekend, Iran would on Tuesday shift attention to Saudi Arabian as its drone attacks hit the US Embassy.
While no casualty has been reported, the attack on the Saudi Arabian soil had prompted reaction from the Muslim World League (MWL).
The globally renowned religious group, in a statement issued by its Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, condemned the attack, labelling it a treacherous aggression by the Iranian Forces.
MWL denounced the attack which, according to the statement, violates all religious values and international and humanitarian laws and norms.
The group noted the clear and firm stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against the war.
MWL also noted the sincere and diligent efforts it has exerted to spare the Iranian people and the peoples of the region from its dangers.
The group however pledged its solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
“On behalf of the MWL’s councils, bodies, and global assemblies, as well as all Muslim peoples under its umbrella, His Excellency reaffirmed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it undertakes in this regard, praying to Almighty God to safeguard the Kingdom-its land, leadership, and people-from all harm and adversity.” The MWL stated.
