The winner of the Ondo gubernatorial election, Rotimi Akeredolu, has accused his predecessors of wasting many years in government
Akeredolu made the emphatic statement during an interview with Channels TV on Monday morning.
The incumbent governor talked about expanding the coastlines of the state to global economy.
He expressed disbelief at why his predecessors had failed to expand the coastlines.
Akeredolu said: "We are going to expand to the coastlines to global economy.
"I wonder why the previous governments haven't done that. Most people have wasted so many years in government.
"I wonder why we are lagging behind."
Akeredolu also promised to improve on the existing infrastructures of the state.
