A ‘mystery’ appeared in Lagos on Thursday walking in the sky at the Marina area of Lagos Island.
The appearance of the man took many by surprise as he was seen walking on a rope tied at one end of the Sterling Bank rooftop while the other end was tied to a rig on the lagoon.
His presence had commandeered attention of many who kept asking for the mission of the man as he held two flags of Nigeria as he made his walk seeking to balance himself.
Many traders in the area and workers at the nearby corporate offices came out to catch a glimpse of the man.
An aide to the Governor of Lagos State On New Media Jibril Gawat however later explained that the ‘mystery’ man is in Lagos as part of a collaborative project between Red Bull and Lagos state Government to capture images of Lagos.
“Red Bull is trying to get the Perfect Lagos Selfie with Jaan Roose from Sterling Towers, Marina Lagos to the Onome Rig.
“Jaan Roose is an Estonian slack liner and Guinness World Record holder.
“Slack Lining is a sport that can be a balance training, recreation and a moving meditation.
“This project is to showcase the beauty of Lagos State and the Red Bull team is working together with Lagos State Government through the Lagos Safety Commission.”
