Tesla founder and latest stakeholder in micro-blogging App, Twitter Mr. Elon Musk has moved to push for reforms in the company .
Days after his 9.2% stake was announced, Musk has tweeted asking for polling on whether users want an edit button to be installed as part of the features of Twitter or not.
NPOReports which is following the progress of the poll, reports that that with about 8 hours left to the poll, 73% of responders have indicated that they want to edit their tweets.
Twitter had made it impossible for users to edit their posts until now.
It is not clear if the result of Musk’s poll will be held sacrosanct when concluded.
Parag Agrawal, Twitter boss had expressed optimism over Musk’s new relationship with the company.
“I’m excited to share that we’re appointing @elonmusk to our board! Through conversations with Elon in recent weeks, it became clear to us that he would bring great value to our Board,” he wrote on Tuesday
Musk in a separate tweet as well had expressed his readiness to work with the twitter board to bring the desired changes.
He said, “Looking forward to working with Parag & Twitter board to make significant improvements to Twitter in coming months.”
