The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has settled the outstanding allowances it owed the Supers Eagles following the players boycott of training session.
Ahead of their crucial FIFA Qualifiers play-off match against Gabon, the national team had staged boycott following their arrival at Morocco.
The team’s captain, Williams Troost-Ekong, had reportedly led the team for the demonstration.
Troost-Ekong would however confirm the NFF’s settlement of the outstanding allowances.
The Super Eagles’ captain confirmed the settlement in a post shared on his X handle on Wednesday.
He maintained that the team remains united and focused on the games ahead.
“Issue RESOLVED. Outstanding financials cleared and on ground.
“Team is UNITED and focused as before on representing NIGERIA with our maximum for the games ahead!” Troost-Ekong wrote.
