As Pilots Eject before Aircraft’s Explosion

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) have confirmed the survival of two pilots involved in the fighter jet crash in Niger state.
NPO Reported that the incident occurred near Karabonde, Borgu Local Government Area of the state on Saturday.
A video shared on X showed the jet engulfed in flames after crashing.
Confirming the incident in a post shared on its X handle on Sunday, the NAF also confirmed the safety of the fighter jet’s pilots.

The Force lauded the pilots for their bravely and professionalism as they safely ejected from the jet before the crash impact.
Meanwhile, pictures attached to the post showed the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Sundey Aneke, with the pilots at the hospital where they were admitted.
One of the pilots however sustained an injury on his left leg which was heavily strapped with bandage while his colleague appeared to have sustained a minor injury.
