A young Nigerian social media influencer and life coach, Babatunde Olusola Thomas has announced that he has earned as much as N5m from pre-orders of his long awaited book, “Becoming A Better Man”.
Thomas, fondly known as Jay the Dope on Twitter, uses his platform with over 300,000 followers to sensitize men on how to become high valued men and how to become better versions of themselves.
The yet-to-be released book is a piece that encourages men to become better versions of themselves while also increasing their self- confidence and for young men out there to be more conscious of the manipulations of modern women.
He claimed to have made up to N5million from the pre-order of his publication in one of his posts, where he wrote,
“He thinks he’s Soyinka” “He thinks he’s Steve Harvey” has made 5M Naira from a book that is yet to drop, lol God is great!!!”
This is in response to the backlash he has received on the announcement of the publication from various Twitter users.

Selar, a digital store in Lagos that enables the sale of digital or physical content online, has ranked the Thomas’ works to be one of the bestselling e-books for the week on their platform.
“My book “Becoming A Better Man” is the bestselling book in Nigeria right now. Selar also recognizes it as this week’s bestselling e-book on their platform. A win for us kings”, he posted.
The digital marketer had launched his marketing agency “The Alpha Male Media” in the early months of 2022 in which he aids business owners reach their target markets and expand their reach through services which include Twitter promotions, accounts management and so on.
