Nigeria’s Ex-President in Fatal Road Crash as Aides Die

Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday escaped unhurt as his convoy was involved in a ghastly accident along the airport road in Abuja.
Though the former President was unhurt, two of his aides were said to have died in the accident as he moved from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja to his private residence.
Jonathan is currently the Special Envoy to ECOWAS.
NPO Reports gathered earlier that Jonathan had visited the National hospital Abuja where the aides were taken for medical care.
It was not clear if the two aides died at the scene of the accident or at the hospital.
