A loyalist of the Leader of the Indigenous People’s of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa has asked residents of Lagos who are of the South-East origin to observe sit-at-home in the state.
Sit-at-home has been a weapon employed by IPOB to drive its protests against the Nigerian state in the South East part of Nigeria often enforced with some level of brutal repression.
Ekpa in a tweet on Tuesday said Igbo businessmen in Lagos must cripple the economy of the state.
“The damage to Lagos state revenue will be immense. We will cut the economy of Lagos in response to the attack against Ndigbo which the state government is directly sponsoring and we will still maintain our income. This will be explained in today’s broadcast,” Ekpa said in his tweet.
He said the sit at home, when activated is applicable to every Biafran doing Business in Lagos, Both shop owners, commercial bus drivers etc.
