“No Election” Protesters Disrupt Poll, Declare Election Null and Void

Rivers state local government election has began to take different twist as “No election” protesters disrupted polling unit at Port Harcourt.

As seen in a now viral video on X, the enraged protesters stormed the polling unit, destroying boxes and other voting materials under the watch of Rivers state Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) officials.

While the ongoing has been majorly peaceful, violence and disruption were, however, observed in some parts of the state
