No One Betrayed You; Shehu Sanni Tells Wike

Former Senator representing Kaduna central senatorial district Shehu Sanni has countered Governor of Rivers State and former presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party Nyesom Wike that no one betrayed him at the just concluded presidential primaries of the party.
NPO Reported earlier that Wike alleged betrayal by fellow governors from the Southern part of the country making him to lose the election to be the candidate of the PDP.
But Sanni, in his response said Wike was not betrayed rather he suffered defeat because delegates simply looked for a candidate that could appeal to the emotions in the North and win elections.
“I don’t think the Southern Governors betrayed Wike;they simply looked beyond the primaries and opted for a formidable aspirant who can overcome northern sentiment,mobilise voters and ultimately win the general elections. Wike remains an indispensable force for the battle ahead.”
