Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has said that he would not be surprised if Governor Godwin Obaseki betrays the likes of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and others fighting now to ensure his victory.
Fayose, featuring on a television programme on PlusTv, said he is neither a fan of Obaseki or Adam Oshiomhole.
Fayose is a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The former governor asked Wike and others to note his prediction saying that Obaseki would finally return to the APC if he wins and turn his back against those who labour to help him to victory.
Fayose said he must not say all that he knows about the election, otherwise so many things would be affected badly.
"It is better I keep my mouth sealed," said the former Governor.
Fayose said both Obaseki and Oshiomhole played what he called very negative roles in the Ekiti election which saw to the victory of current governor, Kayode Fayemi.
He said Fayemi owes Obaseki the debt of paying him back hence, the Ekiti Governor's support for Obaseki of PDP at this time.
Fayemi is the Chairman of the Governor's Forum and a leader of the All Progressive Congress.
Fayose's outburst is expected to unsettle the PDP which he belongs to after the declaration that he is niether supporting Obaseki of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC.
