One person has been reportedly died in a road crash along Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Saturday.
It was gathered that the accident occured around Ogere, shortly after Iperu bridge at about 03:20am
The Ogun State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), spokesperson, Florence Okpe confirmed the incident saying that three men were involved in the road crash.
According to her, the lone crash involved a Toyota Previa car, with registration number XX627RSH.
”A total of three male adults were involved. Two were injured, while the third person was killed in the crash.
“The car suffered a tyre burst while on top resulted to loss of control and the vehicle crashed into the drainage.”
She added that the injured victims were taken to Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching hospital, Sagamu, while the deceased was deposited at the FOS Morgue, Ogere, all in Ogun.
The Ogun FRSC Sector Commander, Ahmed Umar, urged motorists to always comply with stipulated speed limits, as he condoled with the family of the deceased.
