The Uxbridge Magistrate Court on Thursday ruled that David Ukpo, brought to the United Kingdom by former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, is not a minor.
The Nigerian politician and his wife appeared before the trial magistrate on Thursday.
The court held that Ukpo is not a minor after the counsel to the Ekweremadus made an argument on the matter.
Ekweremadu’s lawyer had argued that the donor was not a minor as being claimed.
The court later adjourned the matter to August 4.

David, who alleged that he was 15 years old and was being trafficked by the Ekweremadus, told Westminster Magistrates Court on Thursday that he is 21 years old.
