Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has stopped his convoy to assist victims of a road crash on his way to the airport.
Osinbajo was said to have to be on his way to the airport enroute Owo to visit victims of the Owo Church killings where he ran into the accident scene.
NPO Reports gathered that this was the scene many people saw on Monday that was erroneously taken to be his involvement in a road crash.
His media aide, Laolu Akande, said “On his way to the airport this morning, VP came across a road traffic accident, stopped to lend assistance, & ensured victim was taken to the hospital with VP’s convoy ambulance. He then proceeded on his trip and is now in Ondo State heading to site of yesterday’s attack in Owo.”
