Osun State lawmaker, Oluwole Oke, has began campaign for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 General Election barely hours after dumping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
NPO Reported that six-term member of the House of Representatives representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Osun state, became the latest member to defect from the PDP amidst the ongoing in the opposition party.
Following his defection, Oke would take to his Facebook page where he uploaded a graphics expressing the support of his constituency, Ijesha North, for Tinubu.
Prior to his post, effort by NPO Reports correspondent to reach out to the lawmaker proved abortive.
Oke’s defection preceded another massive exodus from the PDP as all Delta State’s key stakeholders led by the governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, dumped the opposition party for the ruling party.
