Vows He Owns Nigerian Police

An Ogun state monarch, Ọba Semiu Olawale Ogunjobi, the Oloorile of Orile Ifo, has sparked public outrage as a disturbing video of him humiliating a community identified as, Chief Arinola Abraham, over kingship tussle went viral.
As seen in the video attached to a post shared on X, the community chief was compelled to kneel publicly on the road before the King who assaulted him physically and verbally.
One of his subjects was also captured slapping Arinola before he was forced to prostrate and beg the the monarch.
According to the post, the incident reportedly stemmed from a kingship supremacy dispute.
The king had taken offense at Chief Arinola’s alleged support for a coronet Oba named Wasiu (as mentioned in the video).
In response, he confronted the elderly man in his area and treated him in a manner unbefitting of a traditional ruler.
While assaulting the Chief, Oba Ogunjobi challenged him to report as he claimed that he owned the Nigerian Police.
The monarch’s action sparked outrage from netizens who called for his arrest as they tagged the Nigerian Police Force and Ogun sate government.
