Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has been briefed by security agencies over Sundays mass killing of worshippers in Owo, Ondo State.
Gunmen had stormed the St’ Francis Catholic Church, in the heart of the ancient city and killed scores.
A very prominent Owo Chief who was still in shock told NPO Reports that the attacks is devastating for the palace of Olowo.

He said two weeks ago, some gunmen had killed a security guard at an estate with no one making noise.
“Owo is no longer safe for us,” he said
Confirming the briefing by the security chiefs , Akeredolu’s spokesman Richard Olatunde
Said, “Following the unfortunate attack on the people of Owo worshipping at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, on Sunday, Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, has returned to Ondo State from his party’s national assignment in Abuja.
“Governor Akeredolu, who moved straight to Owo from the Akure Airport has received briefs from the Heads of Security agencies in the state.
The Governor has vowed to hunt down the assailants and make them pay. “
