Plateau State Governor, Caleb Muftwang, has banned night grazing and motorcycle movement from 7pm to 6am across the state.
Mutfwang declared the ban in state-wide broadcast issued on Wednesday.
This is coming few days after unknown gunmen attacked Zikwe village in Bassa local government area, killing over 47 people.
The killing which has been heavily condemned across the country came barely three weeks after similar attack was launched across several communities in Bokko LGA, leaving over 50 dead.
Mutfwang, in his broadcast message, held that attacks were calculated, persistent, and painful.
He, however, maintained that the state remains unbroken while declaring the prohibition of night grazing.
The Plateau governor also disclosed the provision of free medical care to victims, and relief materials.
He urged traditional rulers and youth leaders to revive local vigilante patrols in partnership with security forces.
