The Kano State Police Command has arrested three suspects allegedly involved in murder of a woman and her six children.
NPO earlier Reported that a group of assailants had on Saturday broke into the house of one Haruna Bashir, attacking his wife and children with dangerous weapons.
The victims of the attack were al confirmed dead on arrival at the Murtala Mohammed Mohammed Specialist Hospital, Kano,
In the wake of the incident, the Kano State government had ordered probe into the murder of the family while vowing to arrest the culprits.
The state police command would on Sunday confirm the arrest of the three suspects.
They were, in a post shared on X by the Force Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, identified as 23-year-old Umar Auwal (aka Breaker), 40-year-old Isikayu Yakubu, and 21-year-old Yakubu Dayyabu.
Hundeyin further disclosed the discovery of blood-stained clothes, a cutlass, knife, and two mobile phones belonging to the deceased woman at the suspects’ hideout.
