Operatives of the Nigerian Police Force have arrested two more suspects in connection with the kidnap of Folashade Odumosu, wife of former Assistant Inspector General of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.
This was disclosed in a post shared on X on Friday.
According to the post, the two suspects identified as Agbojule Smart and Keleke Michael were arrested by operatives attached to the Lagos State CP Special Squad.
They were reportedly arrested today while on their way out of Lagos.
Following their arrest, the duo confessed to be part of the gang who abducted Folashade Odumosu.
NPO Reported that the Police secured the release of the ex-AIG’s wife who was kidnapped at her residence in Arepo, Ogun state.
The Police confirmed neutralizing two members of the gang during the rescue mission while the rest fled.
Items recovered from the arrested suspects include a sum of N2.3 million, which was part of the requested ransom, two locally fabricated rifles, and 11 live cartridges.
