Operatives attached to Special Anti-Cult Unit (SACU) have arrested two suspected drug dealers in Owa-Oyibo in Oka North East Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to the statement by the state’s PPRO,Edafe the suspects were arrested during a raid of black spots in the Community by the Police.
The suspects identified as Mrs. Ogala Juliet ‘f’ 42yrs and one Ifeadi Macaulay ‘m’ 26yrs.
“Items recovered from them include,two (2) bags of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, twenty (20) cans of liquid substances suspected to be “monkey tail”.
“Investigation is ongoing.”
In his quest to fight the menace caused by Indian hemp/ controlled drugs dealers, the Delta State Commissioner of Police has ordered that continuous raids be carried out by DPOs intheir area of responsibility.
“The CP also admonished the youths to stay away from these substances capable of destroying their lives,”the statement added
