Lagos State Police Command says it’s operatives have nabbed five suspects for vandalizing Lagos State Electricity Board cables mounted around 7-Up Bottling Company, Alausa area of the state.
The state’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin while disclosing this in a statement made available to NPOReports on Thursday identified the suspects as Ukah Gabriel ‘m’ aged 29, Emmanuel Ajikula ‘m’ aged 29, Athanisus Lornumbe ‘m’ aged 28, Titus Akuha ‘m’ aged 18 and Felix Lornumbe ‘m’ aged 27.
According to him, the suspects were caught in the act on Monday, April 24, 2023 by the personnel attached to Alausa Division based on intelligence report.
“Following receipt of credible intelligence on the suspicious movement of some hoodlums in the area.
“Tools and vandalized cables were recovered from the suspects.
“The suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and prosecution,” he said
