Some operatives attached to the Delta State Police Command have been caught in a viral video counting money allegedly extorted from motorists.
The police officers, as captured in the video shared on X on Tuesday, were seen with wads of Naira notes in their operational vehicle branded “Nigeria Police Force, Area Command, Asaba”.
While the video had sparked mixed reactions from netizens, it however remained unclear where the officers got the money from.
The state Police Command is also yet to make any official statement regarding the video.
However, most netizens had claimed that the money was proceeds extorted from motorists.
