The Nigeria Police Force has commenced search of one of its operational vehicles which was stolen from the premises of the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The Police, in an internal wireless message from the Commissioner of Police (DFA, Katsina Command), announced the theft of one of the official vehicles identified as a Toyota Buffalo Land Cruiser.
Further disclosed in the information forwarded to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) was the vehicle’s chassis number JTELU71JX0B027126 and registration number NPF 5594 D.
According to reports, the vehicle attached to the Department of Operations at Force Headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja, went missing on July 28, 2025, after being removed from the official parking lot.
Police authorities say the case is under active investigation and have directed all area commands, divisional police officers, and formations nationwide to be on the lookout for the missing vehicle.
