The Federation of International Football Association has announced that Polish referee Szymon Marciniak will take charge of Sunday’s World Cup final between France and Argentina.
Szymon Marciniak who is 41 years old has already officiated matches involving both teams at the World Cup in Qatar, Argentina’s round of 16 win over Australia and France’s group stage victory against Denmark.
Szymon Marciniak will be assisted in Sunday’s match by compatriots Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz.

The three of them have already officiated together previously in matches at Euros 2016 as well as the Euros Under 18 World Championship.
