Popular Lagos socialite Dotun Olaribigbe has died.
Olaribigbe was the founder of the popular Lobito Disco that was beehive of social activities in the 90s.
He was a hero in the songs of Afro Juju maestro Shina Peters in the 90s.
Olaribigbe contested the chairmanship of Surulere Local Government in 2017 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He also contested the 2019 senatorial election to represent Lagos Central at the National Assembly on the platform of the Liberation Movement Party.
Following his falling out with the APC, he became a fierce critic of the party, particularly its national leader Bola Tinubu who is the party’s candidate for the 2023 presidential election.
Olaribigbe was until his death the CEO of Bulls’ eye Security Solutions Ltd.
