The Presidency has on Tuesday shared the progress of the ongoing Kano-JIgawa-Katsina Rail project.
This was contained in a post shared on X by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
The presidential spokesperson also stated the ongoing construction of access roads and overhead bridges along the axis.
According to Onanuga, the contractors assured that the projects will be completed by December 2026.
“Ongoing work on the Kano-Jigawa-Katsina- Maradi railway. Access roads and overhead bridges are also being built. 2026 December is the planned delivery date, according to the contractors.” Onanuga wrote.
