The Prince of Wales, Prince Williams, and his wife, Princess Catherine, have on Wednesday morning received President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu at the Fairmont Hotel ahead of their meeting with King Charles III at the Windsor Castle.
NPO Reported that the Tinubu and his wife had yesterday arrived in London for the two-day state visit to the United Kingdom.
With their first scheduled activity being their meeting with the UK’s royal family, the Nigerian President and First Lady awaited their convoy to the palace as they sat outside the Fairmont Hotel.
Video shared on X showed moment Prince Williams and his wife arrived to accompany the guests to the Castle.
They exchanged pleasantries with the Nigerian leader and his wife with Oluremi later seen engaging Princess Catherine in a conversation.

The couples would thereafter depart the hotel with another clip showing their arrival on horse-driven royal carriages at the Windsor Castle.
While at Windsor Castle, Their Majesties are tipped to invite the President and the First Lady to view a special exhibition of items from the Royal Collection related to Nigeria.
Later, the King and the President will hold private discussions and meet with organisations engaged in interfaith dialogue, both nationally and internationally.
The Royal Family will host a State Banquet in honour of the Nigerian guests in the evening.
Tinubu will thereafter hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer at 10 Downing Street, which will lead to expanded bilateral engagement between senior officials of the two countries.
The meeting is expected to culminate in the signing of various Memoranda of Understanding and agreements, including those on trade, investment, defence, and cultural cooperation.
