The Qatari government has condemned the recent attack and killing of residents of Dutsin Dan Ajiya village in Anka Local Government area of Zamfara State.
Scores of gunmen had on Friday stormed the Dutsin Dan Ajiya village, killing over 50 residents with several women and children abducted.
Reacting to the tragic incident, Qatar, in a statement issued on Monday by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Doha, condemned that targeted attack.
The Arab nation affirmed its stance violence, terrorism, and criminal act while expressing its condolences to families of the victims and the Nigerian government.
The statement read; “The State of Qatar voices its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a village in Zamfara State, northwest of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which led to dozens of deaths and the abduction of a number of women and children.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the State of Qatar’s stance rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of the motives and reasons.
“The Ministry expresses the State of Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Nigeria, wishing for the safety of the abductees.”
