A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has come under fire for watching the nude parts of new, movie, Blood Sisters.
The RCCG pastor, who is identified simply as Pastor Oreoluwa had through his twitter account, condemned the nude images in the movie.
He had said the movie could do without those nudes adding that the movie was good without the scenes.
“The nudity in blood sisters wasn’t needed. It’s never needed. We are gradually accepting it, before long, it becomes the norm in Nollywood. Entertainment can be entertaining and informative without nudity.
“The acting was good though. That new lady, the Temeyin actress was the breakout star.
Hollywood started nudity this way, now they’ve gone full blown LGBTQ+, if we accept this as a norm, don’t be surprised when our movie industry joins the clamour for it,” the pastor had said.
However, many critics have taken the pastor up to say that it was intentional for him to watch nude images because he has the option of not watching.
Social media entrepreneur, Japhet Omojuwa, in his criticism, said Netflix announces viewers the nature of the images they are about to see.

He said, “Pastor, Netflix let’s you know before the first scene that the content you are about to watch contains nudity. To go ahead to watch it then come publicly complain about the nudity is Sadducee. Sad to see.”
Another responder with the handle, @granny_peteobi, wrote, “Nobody is encouraging nudity. Especially when it’s clearly stated that it’s contents are for Adults. And you don’t tell Script writers what and what not to add in a movie when you’re not the one paying for the script. Some things are not meant to be policed. Make una rest.”
Another observer with the handle @aja_engr, wrote “Are you not supposed to be reading the bible Pastor? Must you watch everything? You want to condemn the movie abi?”
