An Ebonyi State lawmaker, Prof. Okorie Ani, had yesterday come under netizens spotlight after being spotted empowering his constituents with brand new pots.
The Senator, representing Ebonyi South Senatorial Constituency, was captured in a now viral video shared on X on Wednesday distributing the pots to members of the constituency.
This is coming barely a month after a Kogi House of Assembly lawmaker, Hon. Ibikunle Idowu, distributed motorcycle tyres to his constituents as a form of empowerment and support.
The lawmaker, however, came under heavy criticism with netizens reportedly questioning the logic behind the initiative.
In the same vein, Okorie’s donation of pots had raised eyebrow as netizens expressed discontentment with the initiative.
