The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has left many netizens and Nollywood fans as she starred in Kunle Afolayan’s newly released series, Anikulapo: The Ghoul Awakens.
While Dabiri-Erewa is not a novice in the media industry considering her stint as a broadcast journalist before delving into politics, the NiDCOM boss’ appearance in the Anikulapo series however tend to be her first shot on Nollywood screen and acting debut.
Dabiri-Erewa had in the movie acted the role of Iyalode.
She confirmed this in a post on her X handle on Saturday, sharing a clip of her action in the movie.
The NiDCOM boss, in the caption expressed her delight for being part of the project while urging her followers to watch the movie.
“A bit of my little stint on the legendary Kunle Afolayan’s epic film Anikulapo:The Ghoul awakens” where I played the role of “ Iyalode”.suing for peace between the warring communities. Showing on Netflix. Don’t miss it ” She wrote.
This had since attracted reactions from netizens who commended the NiDCOM boss for her role in the movie.
