Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has again come to the spotlight as video of a 100-level female clashing with a female lecturer surfaced online.
As captured in a video shared on X on Thursday, the yet-to-be identified student could be seen repeatedly charging towards the visibly angry lecturer despite being restrained by security operatives.
The incident which occurred along the walkway of a lecture hall attracted other students who were recording the face-off between the lecturer and the student.
With the female relentlessly talking back and demanding to be freed, the lecturer shoved her in the face while also urging the security operatives to let go of her.
The cause of the clash is however yet to be confirmed with no official statement also confirming issued yet by the school management over the incident.
However, the now viral video had again sparked mixed reactions from netizens with some expressing their displeasure with the student while others raised concern over lecturers’ attitude towards their students.
